Announcement:  For the past two years, I’ve had to keep under wraps a new book that is a big departure for me. I’m incredibly excited to be able to announce it now. It’s called Doppelganger: A Trip into the Mirror World. It will be published in English on September 12, 2023.  But if you follow me on social media, I think you are going to want to know more about it.  Given the turmoil #OnHere, I’ve set up a forever-free newsletter for the sole purpose of sharing news about the book. One thing I can say is that this work never would have happened without … Twitter. Please sign up here!

This newsletter is free. I won’t share or sell your data or ask for paid subscribers. It’s a tool to allow me to share news about future projects (including Doppelganger coming…), as well as new articles that I publish elsewhere. Thank you for your trust and for making sure that we can always find each other, no matter what space-faring billionaires do with what should be our information commons.

Naomi reads all letters responding to her books and articles, even if she isn’t able to respond to all of them. Please send correspondence here.

After writing hundreds of blurbs for books and films over the years, Naomi is currently not accepting new blurb requests.

================

*My arrangement with the speaking agency is that they are only permitted to ask for fees from groups that have money set aside for this purpose, based on fees they have paid in the past. Occasionally, an agent makes a mistake and quotes a fee that is totally inappropriate given a group’s budget. Or they quote a fee to a grassroots group for whom I would be happy to do an unpaid fundraiser. Fortunately, this happens rarely. But if it happens to you, please email Klein Lewis Productions immediately.

We need this feedback to prevent misunderstandings. There is nothing more important to me than the relationship of trust that I have built up with my readers over more than two decades. So if you see anything happening in my name that doesn’t sound right, please let us know. Thank you!

Naomi’s ongoing writing, research, teaching and organizational duties make taking on new commitments particularly challenging at this time. We will do our best to respond to requests sent here but if you do not hear back, please assume we aren’t able to fulfill your request.

For information about Naomi’s work as Professor of Climate Justice at the University of British Columbia, visit her faculty page and the Centre for Climate Justice, which she co-directs.

Activist groups may reproduce Naomi’s articles for use in campaigns or popular education. However, Naomi’s articles may not be edited or republished in newspapers, magazines or books without written permission from Klein Lewis Productions. All reprint requests—including those from publishers, editors, and the media—should be directed to Klein Lewis Productions.
